Before the creation of MIRS, Shimizu et al demonstrated that 23 gene panel (mPS) may help to predict overall survival in breast cancer patients based on the analogous neuron network model. We then comprehensively evaluate the prognosticated powers of our MIRS and the mPS by conducting prognostic meta-analyses from a variety of public datasets.
